Thoughts

My recent promotional result has again proven that I am incapable of getting into a preferred course I wanted in a local university. E E S U U. I advanced. To be happy or not to be? I could imagine myself struggling in Year 2 next year. The parents meeting with my civics tutor has made me think a lot about my future, what I want to be. I had no goal. I could once again feel that strong urge I had in May, to resort to withdrawing from Meridian Junior College and opt for a course in Ngee Ann Poly instead. I want to take an easier way out. Maybe the A level route isn't the one for me.

At 17, I've finally found my ambition. I have finally figured what I want to be in the near future. I want to be a physiotherapist. It is nothing like the cliche ambition I had when I was younger. I remembered when I was young, my parents and the people around me got me 'inspired' to be a doctor or other typical jobs. Uninterested, nor achievable.

Fated I may say, that the only school that offers physiotherapy in Singapore is Nanyang Poly, which only accepts A level students. It is a 3-year course and another year in an overseas university to obtain a degree. Motivated, I still have to force myself to stay in mjc and reluctantly complete the A level examination.

Hope this motivation will be kept in me and not let the fickle-minded side of me to change my mind again.

When I was a kid, I didn't have a laptop, iPod, Blackberry , PS3 or iPad. I played outside with friends, bruised my knees, made up adventurou s fantasies and played hide and seek. I ate what my mom made and KFC was a treat. I would think twice before I said "no" to my parents. Life wasn't hard, it was great and I survived. Kids these days are too spoilt. June Holidays week 2

Studied a little and the rest of the week was spent on making 31 scrapbooks for the seniors' farewell which was in week 3. Went to The Paper Market to buy the materials. Simin lent us a toolbox full of scrapbook-making materials aww so nice of her!

After we cut the papers and bind them at The Cathay.

The whole process wasn't easy at all; sketch their names onto matching coloured papers. Apply glue. Form their names with cotton twine. Air dry them

Letting the names dry.

And we decided to stay overnight at Dawn's house to do the scrapbook. 17 hours straight making and designing scrapbooks. No joke.

We've been through so much together; practicing our moves

everywhere - tampines open area, school carpark, bio lab area, assembly plaza, behind the lecture theatres, basketball court, field

anytime - Practicing in the dark with no lights; when all the lights were off in school,

also climbing over fences and railings, the girls helping me squeezing through the turnsvile on a sunday morning.

Practiced so much that we neglected studies together. The entire process was just precious as I looked back. Back then when I couldn't juggle studies, clearleading, cca, family and I was so slow in learning the dance moves, I broke down. Those were the dark days but we pulled though. All the sacrifices was worth it!

My first time actually crying in school; on that sunday night 9pm when Fahzli played some sad songs and people started crying.

I love u all, I miss you all!! <3 seeya in school!

Last Sunday. My CCA ODAC went to Malaysia, Mount Ophir for mountain climbing while you guys are enjoying your labour day(?) holiday! Hahaha. We set off immediately after school on the friday.
We reached the campsite at 6ish only to find out that food was prepared for us!

Monday Blues. First day of school for term 2. I wasnt really looking forward to it cause, I procrastinate too much. You actually don't feel like going to school when you havent complete all your holiday homework, tutorials and when there is a test on day 1 of school. So yup. Roadrace on a saturday sigh everyone wants to sleep! We head to Pasir Ris Park for Roadrace 2011.
Competitive runners:
Girls: 3.3km
Boys: 4.3km

Non-competitive runners: Mascot Race (we run with our mascot!)
3.1 km!

Our Mascot LOL its a........ genie.

Volunteered to hold the placards for our mascot race so we have to run in front. Was a jog though, cause everyone has to keep together., its about running as a house. We came in 2nd for our Mascot Race!!! YAY HAPPY :)

Can u see how ulu this place is? In fact, its just located in Tampines. Its behind sunplaza park and its open to public from 8am onwards. Remember to be equipped! We cycled for approx 1.5 hours and it was really a tough journey.

NOT THE TYPICAL CYCLE-IN-THE-PARK where the paths are so smooth, no obstacles and rocks. The best part: Cycle across a pool of muddy water omg the water splashed out and dirtied my legs and my shoes.

Don't like the helmet at all cause it makes my scalp itchy hahahaha kidding.

This is last friday which we stayed back after school to celebrate Jan/Feb babies' birthdays!
We had to complete a montage on leadership before we celebrated so here are the pics.

Orientation Day 3

Staying in our formation. The outer ring hold hands. The inner ring with attackers throwing waterbombs and 2 defenders ensuring the "ship"(hulahoop with newspapers) is dry.

Check out the number of water bombs each house has. Approx 800 omg.

The giant structure we had to attack by throwing waterbombs. The leaders on the other hand, have to defend these structures.

27th: Report to Mjc for admin stuff. Attend massive number of talks - Subject talks, Uni talks omg information overload. Choose subject combi by 2359.
*I was shocked that its TERM 1 DAY 1 FOR US JC1s.

28th: Icebreakers, cheers and mass dance if I don't remember wrongly!

My Admin Group(AG)!! They're not my classmates though. We're arranged by alphabetical order hahaha so their surnames and names have X or Y! Awesome leaders from Triton(green) - Putri, Hadi and Chunhong!!

Sat and sun - I forgot what I did but I was reallyyyy excited for orientation on the monday!!

ORIENTATION!!!! (Orientation group OG)

Since we chosed our combi on day 1 of the day we report to mj, we were spitted into our classes. Aww I miss my new friends I've made on the first few days - Meili, Crystal and Jazreel!! Many people thought Meili and I knew each other beforehand LOL we only knew each other for a day or so and we clicked!!

DAY 1 - Mass dance, Couple dance, Icebreakers (+wet games)

My OG - CALLISTO 4!! Blue house. I was secretly hoping I was in Triton tho haha the leaders damn nice

MY AWESOME OGLS!! Zhiheng, Timothy, Rebecca, Shelley, Jiayi and Jeffrey!!

If you are wondering, OGLs should be Orientation Group Leaders, I think. No one explained that, I figured it out haha

Those we had to remember names are extremely hard. I simply cant remember/ match their faces to their names...... I FEEL SO BAD

My class only has 3 guys (for the moment, if no one appeals in haha) I forgot to mention my combi haha BCME, H2 BIO CHEM MATH and H1 ECONOMICS. I think my class took HMT in O levels so we don't have to take CL yay!!!

We need to push the cups to a line haha I've seen this game in taiwan variety shows before!! We team won haha but I fail

DAY 2 - MMM Mighty(?) Meridian March

We traveled from stations (MRT) to stations to complete at least 3 games/tasks to get points. We ran from place to place, I can't imagine how much we ran. THE RUNNING MADE MY MUSCLES ACHE LIKE SHIT THESE FEW DAYS. Mad fun day!!!!

One of the games during MMM. We have to tie our legs together and walk in a straight line. Damn tough haha cause we walked sideways like a crab.

Cause we all like to photobooth hahaha. Childhood friends came to my house for house-visiting and we photobooth in my room hehe. Then we all went to other friends' house to visit - its like a yearly thing haha cause our parents know each other since idk when! (which is why we are CHILDHOOD friends)

Haiiiiiiii. I've not been updating haha because my life is pretty much boring now. Many things to be done especially when chinese new year is around the corner - in about 2 weeks! Omg I still haven't got my new clothes and shoes. Shoes are a headache I CANNOT WEAR HEELS ); Boots omg I want but many designs come with heels. I also need to get my new shoes and bag for school! My mum has been reminding me that last minute shopping doesn't work. OK I need to start to search for my ideal ones!

Hello guys

O Level Results was satisfying. It was better than expected but far less(as in worse) than what I wanted. Want and expect are different things. Well I am glad for my bonus points. They helped me A LOT. I think I got lucky for my C6 in Higher Chinese. Thank god I passed so I can get 2 bonus points deduction for my r5.

The raw scores are pretty bad I think. 13 and 10 for L1R5 and L1R4 respectively.

Guys im still alive! O level results in 3 days time I am worried. I spent my post-work days rather fruitfully!

Tues > celebrated michelle's birthday at grand corp waterfront hotel with her mum who planned this surprise a mth ago > kbox at cine hehe i love it. Blasted and sang. Anyhow sing to random chinese songs the girls chosed and i love those el songs im familiar with. Party in the usa was the toughest song of all haha high note and fast tempo. > cab to benedict's condo at simei for 2R4 bbq.
Cab fare was about 30 and the worst thing is that the taxi driver nagged at us for taking a taxi. He went on and say that taking the train would be faster and cheaper _|_ u are earning our money

The bbq gathering was great! Tried bowling and i was so shy cause im a newbie. The thing keeps going into the longgang and i gave up.

Played games and stuff and we got so bored we played hide and seek around the pool area HAHA. We then chilled at the pool side to talk and play a random word chain game. The forfeit was......... stupid i should have chosed 'truth' instead of a 'dare'

daily routine: eat work eat sleep

Life is kinda mundane as for now because I get really exhausted after work. Even sitting down on trains can be so shiok. I think I'm getting old hahaha neck ache shoulder ache everyday! Fifth day of work tmr - I guess I still need to familiarise more.

Yup and I reckon I'll get fat because I am having heavy supper every night!!! And I aleep for 10 hrs str8 after that! This is good I need 3 kgs more haha but fats pls don't go to my tummy plsplspls....
